International Freshman Applicants
You are considered an international freshman if you:
- Are not a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, and
- Are not graduating from a Texas high school after three years of residence in Texas.

- Select “Student Center”
- Open your “To-Do List” and click Upload/View Document for the “UGRD Fee Waiver Form.”
- Upload your completed PDF.
- Tier One Scholarship (full tuition, housing, and stipend for top-performing students)
- Academic Excellence Scholarships
- College-Specific Scholarships offered by individual departments
- A short admissions essay, and
- A resume of extracurricular activities

International freshmen are eligible for merit-based scholarships, including:
