About the Program

Bachelor's programme in Business Studies educates future staff for international enterprises and entrepreneurs capable of creating innovative start-ups on international markets. The study program stands out on the market considering the specificity of management in an international environment and the use of modern methods such as Problem Based Learning, Design Thinking and Flipped Education in the education process. Management and quality knowledge and skills (management, economics, finance, marketing) give the competences required for the effective performance of tasks in various sectors of the economy, while education in English enables to train staff, which meets the expectations of the global market. Cooperation with companies: The study program was based on international and national standards and guidelines obtained from external stakeholders, in accordance with the education quality policy adopted in Lodz University of Technology. Practitioners who participate in the evaluation of problems solved by students during studies, apprenticeships, final projects and diploma theses have a significant share in education. What is more, Lodz University of Technology actively participates in creating regional plans and strategies. The study programme takes into account the goals set out in the Lodz Voivodship Development Strategy and the LORIS 2030 Regional Innovation Strategy for the Lodz Voivodship, such as internationalization, digitization and development of the information society as well as the development of Industry 4.0. and is focused on educating leaders for the development of innovation in the region. Job perspectives: The graduate is prepared to work in teams, lead them and create and conduct commercial and non-commercial ventures and can continue his studies at second-cycle studies. Business Studies graduates are professional staff prepared to act in economic and social life in the era of global economy. Graduate profile: The increase in the number of foreign companies and enterprises operating within international product chains and service centers belonging to international concerns increases the demand for specialists and managers able to work effectively in international teams. As a graduate you will be prepared to perform managerial functions at all levels of organization management on an international scale and to conduct international research in the field of management and quality sciences for the purposes of organization development in the I4.0 era
