During the INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY studies, you can acquire skills in designing and programming IT systems, develop the ability to solve abstract problems, and explore the arcana of working in the environment of the latest technologies. Students are trained to become specialists with extensive knowledge of the subject matter supported by the required practical skills. They participate in programs of leading software developers, Microsoft Academy and Oracle Academy, which allows them to work with training materials prepared by the companies, and upon successful completion of the training, they have a chance to receive appropriate certificates. They learn to work independently and teamwork through collaborative programming projects. CORE SUBJECTS Algorithms and Data Structures Operating Systems Computer Architecture Signal and Image Processing Database Fundamentals Network Technologies Software Engineering Computer Graphics Artificial Intelligence and Expert Systems Each student of the International Faculty of Engineering (IFE), as part of the curriculum, completes at least one semester (6th semester) - "Mobility Semester" - in a foreign university. Graduate profile: Information Technology graduates have no problems finding a job - IT companies in Poland and abroad provide several hundred vacancies every year. Employability is further enhanced by a curriculum that is fully synchronized with the job market requirements. Graduates of Information Technology are able to find employment as: programmers, analysts and system and data engineers, database administrators, programmers and graphic designers of computer and mobile games, software testers, IT and ICT systems testers, computer network administrators and designers, specialists in IT systems installation and maintenance, specialists in IT companies, research and development centers, central and local government administration, academic institutions or in education, leaders of IT projects, and researchers and scientists.
