Requirements
Applicants must come from a developing or emerging country in Africa, Asia, the Middle East, or Latin America and currently reside there.
They must hold a university degree and have professional experience in their home country.
They should aim to pursue a master’s degree, PhD, or a post-doctoral research project (2–6 months for established university lecturers) at a German university.
Applicants should be Catholic Christians or belong to a Christian denomination; candidates from other religions may apply if recommended by Catholic partners and committed to interreligious dialogue.
They must have German language skills before starting their studies, with KAAD offering up to 6 months of language training in Germany.
