Requirements

  • Required languages are English and German.
  • Applicants must be gifted students from Africa, Asia, Latin America, or Eastern Europe.
  • Applicants must demonstrate strong academic or professional potential.
  • Applicants must have admission to, or be enrolled at, a state or state-recognized higher education institution in Germany.
  • Applicants must have sufficient knowledge of German, even though courses are taught in English.
  • Applicants must show commitment to the values of social democracy.
  • Applicants must demonstrate above-average academic performance.
  • Applicants must exhibit qualities such as political awareness, intellectual curiosity, tolerance, openness, teamwork, critical thinking, and self-reflection
