About this Scholarship

The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization offers an internship in Communication and Public Engagement at its Headquarters in Paris, France. The internship lasts 1-6 months and is open to students from across the world. Selected interns will work in the Division for Communication and Public Engagement and report directly to the Director General’s office. The internship provides an opportunity to gain real-world experience and work alongside UNESCO experts on real-time projects.

Requirements

  • Applicants must be at least 20 years old
  • Students enrolled in bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD degree programs
  • Pursuing or have completed their degrees in communication, journalism, intellectual property law, environment, translation, or related areas
  • Excellent command of the English or French language
  • Working knowledge of any other official UN language would be an asset
  • Knowledge of computer systems and software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A team player able to adapt to a new working environment
