About this Scholarship

The Artificial Intelligence Erasmus Mundus Scholarship Programme is a two-year (120 ECTS) Master’s Degree that provides a comprehensive framework of theory and practice in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Requirements

  • Must have completed a first-cycle study program (minimum 180 ECTS) in ICT, engineering, physics, mathematics, statistics, or an equivalent field.
  • Candidates from other fields (with at least 180 ECTS) may apply if they have completed the required prerequisite courses before enrolment.
  • Candidates from unrelated fields (with at least 180 ECTS) must complete 10–60 ECTS of required courses in ICT-related subjects as determined by the EMAI Academic Programme Committee.
  • Must have at least 12 ECTS in mathematics (e.g., calculus, linear algebra, logic, discrete math, combinatorics, probability & statistics, information theory, graph theory, number theory).
  • Must have at least 12 ECTS in programming (e.g., programming paradigms, algorithms, data structures).
  • Must have at least 12 ECTS in computer science or computer engineering (e.g., cryptography, security, networks, hardware, theoretical CS).
