If you’re applying to Simon Business School’s full-time MS programs—such as Accountancy, Business Analytics, Finance, or Marketing Analytics—you may be eligible for an application fee waiver and generous scholarship opportunities.
Application Fee Waivers: Who Qualifies?
Full-time MS applicants can waive the $90 application fee if they meet any of these criteria:
- U.S. service via Teach for America, Peace Corps, or U.S. Military
- University of Rochester alum
- Graduate of a Simon partner school
- Attendee of a Simon event or interactive webinar
To request a waiver, email a written explanation, résumé, and supporting documentation to
admissions@simon.rochester.edu. The request must be submitted at least five business days before your application
deadline and before submitting your application. You’ll receive a response within five business days.
Waiver by Applying Early
For applicants to Simon MS programs, submitting your application by March 31 of Round 4 offers additional benefits:
- Application fee waived—no separate request needed
- Guaranteed minimum $5,000 scholarship upon admission
- Faster access to onboarding, housing lottery, and expedited I-20 processing for international students

Business Master’s Pathway
University of Rochester undergrads can participate in a five-year BA/BS + MS Pathway program, which includes:
